Kagiri nishiki is a cream and green variegated tree similar to Butterfly. It has a little less variegation, but is more rapid growing and more open than Butterfly. Kagiri nishiki forms a wide vase to around 16 feet tall. (Restricted variegated)

Variegated
Kasen nishiki is a variegated upright similar to Orido nishiki, but with more subtle variegation. Variegation is more irregular, with both sickle shaped markings and spots in pastel pinks and creams. Kasen nishiki will form a small bushy tree to about 12 feet.

Kashima is the smallest and slowest growing of the flat bush dwarfs maples. It is widely used for bonsai. It is only 3 foot wide in ten years.

Kinran is a red upright, leaves fading to green. It has orange, red second growth which contrasts with the deep green of the mature leaves. Tree form is as wide as tall, to about 15 feet. Kinran has nice gold with crimson overtones colors in the fall. (Woven with golden strings)

Kinshi is a green dwarf palmatum with thin strap like leaves. It is a similar plant to Koto no ito, but summer foliage is a deeper green. The fall foliage is a nice orange. It probably will grow to 8 foot at maturity.

Kiyohime yatsubusa is a flat growing green dwarf maple. Branching is very horizontal giving the plant a saucer appearance. It can reach widths in excess of 12 feet. Fall color is yellow to orange.

Komachi hime is fast growing green dwarf maple, similar in habit to Shishiohime, but even larger growing. New growth is a orangish red giving a two toned effect. Mature size can be up to 12 foot wide by 8 foot tall.
Komon nishiki

Komon nishiki is a small leaved palmatum with flecked or sand dusted variegation. It is similar to Koshibori nishiki, but with deeper green foliage. It has nice orange red fall color. Komon nishiki makes a small tree, to 12 feet at maturity. (Small figures on brocade)

Korean Gem is an excellent green palmatum with brilliant yellow to orange to red fall color. Spring leaf color is a pleasing yellow green, with leaves maturing to a deep glossy green. It is a strong grower, and makes a larger palmatum to 20 feet in height.
Koshibori nishiki
Variegated
Koshibori nishiki is a variegated upright with subtle yellow and pink flecks of variegation on yellow green foliage. It has very nice orange fall coloring. From a distance Koshibori nishiki appears to be a small leafed palmatum. Koshibori nishiki is what the Japanese call a “plant of homecoming”, requiring a closer look to appreciate its beauty.(Little dappled variegated or fine dress)

Koshimino is a green upright with leaves completely divided to their base giving the appearance of five feathery leaves. Koshimino is very similar to Hagoromo, but is more vigorous. The plant forms a narrow tree to about 16 feet. Fall colors are a blend of yellow and oranges.

Koto maru is a green witch's broom dwarf maple with tiny penny sized leaves. New growth is a yellow orange, turning to a deep green as the leaf matures. Koto maru forms a compact slow growing dwarf. (Round harp)

Koto no ito is green dwarf linearlobum upright with very thread-like leaves. Koto no ito is one of the larger growing dwarfs, up to 12 feet in height. Fall color is an excellent orange. (Harp strings)

Cornus kousa, the Chinese Dogwood blooms after the native Florida dogwood, generally mid May to mid July. The flower of the seedling is white, starting small and expanding to its full glory. The plant tends to be more multi-stemmed than the native Florida.

Krazy Krinkle is an upright Japanese maple taller than wide. Leaves have a distinctive twist and crinkle. Mature height probably will be in the 12 to 14' range. Fall color is a bright orange and red.

Kurabuyama is a vigorous green upright known for its excellent yellow, orange, and red fall color. Spring growth is flushed with red, soon to change to deep green. Kurabuyama makes a plant wider than tall, to about 14 feet.
