Komachi hime

Komachi hime is fast growing green dwarf maple, similar in habit to Shishiohime, but even larger growing. New growth is a orangish red giving a two toned effect. Mature size can be up to 12 foot wide by 8 foot tall.

Komon nishiki is a small leaved palmatum with flecked or sand dusted variegation. It is similar to Koshibori nishiki, but with deeper green foliage. It has nice orange red fall color. Komon nishiki makes a small tree, to 12 feet at maturity. (Small figures on brocade)

Korean Gem is an excellent green palmatum with brilliant yellow to orange to red fall color. Spring leaf color is a pleasing yellow green, with leaves maturing to a deep glossy green. It is a strong grower, and makes a larger palmatum to 20 feet in height.
Koshibori nishiki
Variegated
Koshibori nishiki is a variegated upright with subtle yellow and pink flecks of variegation on yellow green foliage. It has very nice orange fall coloring. From a distance Koshibori nishiki appears to be a small leafed palmatum. Koshibori nishiki is what the Japanese call a “plant of homecoming”, requiring a closer look to appreciate its beauty.(Little dappled variegated or fine dress)
Koshimino

Koshimino is a green upright with leaves completely divided to their base giving the appearance of five feathery leaves. Koshimino is very similar to Hagoromo, but is more vigorous. The plant forms a narrow tree to about 16 feet. Fall colors are a blend of yellow and oranges.

Koto maru is a green witch's broom dwarf maple with tiny penny sized leaves. New growth is a yellow orange, turning to a deep green as the leaf matures. Koto maru forms a compact slow growing dwarf. (Round harp)

Dwarf
Koto no ito is green dwarf linearlobum upright with very thread-like leaves. Koto no ito is one of the larger growing dwarfs, up to 12 feet in height. Fall color is an excellent orange. (Harp strings)

Dogwood
Cornus kousa, the Chinese Dogwood blooms after the native Florida dogwood, generally mid May to mid July. The flower of the seedling is white, starting small and expanding to its full glory. The plant tends to be more multi-stemmed than the native Florida.

Krazy Krinkle is an upright Japanese maple taller than wide. Leaves have a distinctive twist and crinkle. Mature height probably will be in the 12 to 14' range. Fall color is a bright orange and red.

Kyou no aki is a strong growing green palmatum with lime green new growth. It will be a large palmatum possibly to 20'. Fall color is an excellent clear yellow.

Lemon Lime Lace is a distinctive laceleaf with lemon yellow new growth, older leaves fading to lime green. Fall color is yellow and orange.
Linearlobum
Upright
Linearlobum is the classic green narrow lobed upright maple. Foliage is a soft green, turning to very nice yellow orange in the fall. Linearlobum is more spreading than Ao shime no uchi. Its mature size is 16 foot tall by 25 foot wide.

Lionheart is a nice red dissectum. It is not upright, but does form an open sprawling mound. Color is similar to Crimson Queen. Fall color is crimson red.

Little Gem is a dwarf Acer circinatum, forming a tight round ball. Its foliage is a light green with nice orange and crimson fall foliage. Mature size is around 6 foot by 6 foot.

Lovett is a shorter green Acer sieboldianum with medium sized leaves. Twigs have noticeable pubescence as leaf unfolds. Lovett has excellent orange and red fall color. It is narrow growing tree to 15 feet.
Lozita

Lozita is a stubby red upright, more of a bush than a tree. The plant will be wider than tall, about 8 foot by 10 foot. Color is a dark red similar to Bloodgood. Fall color a nice scarlet.
Mama
Upright
Mama is a narrow growing green palmatum with distinctive foliage. Each leaf is different than the next, some narrow lobed, some wider lobed, some with tattered appearance. The overall effect is delicate, but this is a hardy tree. Fall color is yellow orange and quite bright. (Doing as one pleases)
Marakumo

The true name of this dwarf maple is not known. It is not the Marakumo, a variegated upright seen in literature. It is however, a nice round bush maple to about 4 foot by 4 foot in ten years.
Margaret Bee

Margaret Bee is a red upright, similar in color to Bloodgood. Branching is upright but stocky, giving the tree a clump like form. It will be 15 foot by 15 foot at maturity. Margaret Bee's fall color is a nice red.
Matsukaze

Matsukaze is a broadly spreading palmatum to about 14'. In time, its branches will become semi– cascading. Spring color is garnet red, maturing to a deep green. Fall color is orange and red. (Wind in the pines)

Matthew is a reliable dwarf maple with yellowish green leaves. Its leaves become brighter as the summer progresses. Matthew has beautiful orange fall color. Matthew will be 4 foot by 4 foot in ten years.
Meigetsu
Upright
Meigetsu is a tree form of Acer japonicum with large grapelike leaves. It has pinkish new growth over green mature foliage. Meigetsu has excellent orange and red fall colors, and will make a large stocky plant
